Galvanized sheet refers to a steel sheet with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanizing is a commonly used economic method to prevent the surface of the steel sheet from corrosion and extend its service life. A layer of metal zinc is coated on the surface of the steel sheet to provide an effective anti-rust barrier. About half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.
Due to different treatment methods in the coating process, the surface state varies, including ordinary zinc spangles, fine zinc spangles, flat zinc spangles, and no zinc spangles. Standard galvanized sheets should maintain a good appearance, free from defects such as holes, cracks, scum, excessive thickness, or white rust.

Hot-dip Galvanizing
Immersing steel in molten zinc. Steps include: Pretreatment (cleaning/degreasing), Dip plating (reaction to form alloy layer), Cooling, and Post-treatment inspection.
Electrogalvanizing (Cold)
Depositing zinc through electrolysis. Steps include: Electrolyte preparation, Electroplating (zinc ions reduced to metallic zinc on cathode), and Post-treatment cleaning.
