Copper glycinate is a chelate with a cyclic structure formed by copper and glycine. It is a novel nutrient additive.
Copper glycine is not present in free Cu2+ and does not cause gastrointestinal irritation. It has good palatability, no metal taste and does not affect product quality when adding to food. It greatly reduces the antagonistic effect of elements, such as Ca, Mg, Cu, Fe, Zn, Mn and other divalent ions in the digestive tract.
Copper glycinate is a new type of feed additive with good stability, and will not destroy a variety of different vitamins when adding to the feed. It will not catalyze the oxidation of fat in the feed. It can substitute copper sulfate as the essential copper element in animal. It also has the same growth effect by adding less amount of copper glycinate compared to copper sulfate.
Glycine copper eases the absorption of trace elements between the competitive antagonism, not only greatly improve the absorption and utilization of copper ions, but also improve the absorption of other trace elements.
Copper glycinate can promote pig growth, increase digestibility, increase feed intake; and has the function of promoting secretion and antibacterial activity.
