

Vitamin B12 is a member of the vitamin B complex. It is exclusively synthesised by bacteria and is found primarily in meat, eggs and dairy products. There has been considerable research into proposed plant sources of vitamin B12. Fermented soya products, seaweeds, and algae such as spirulina have all been suggested as containing significant B12.


As a feed nutrition fortifier, it functions effectively against anemia (pernicious anemia, nutritional anemia). For parasites, the effective dosage is 15 to 30 mg/t.
1. Food Nutrition Fortifier: Used in functional foods, meal replacement powders, nutritional oral liquids, dairy products, baked foods, and snack foods to supplement daily Vitamin B12 requirements. It is suitable for large-scale production in food processing plants.
2. Animal Feed Additive: Applied in feed for poultry, livestock, aquatic products, and pets to promote growth, improve immunity, increase feed conversion rates, and reduce breeding diseases.
